CHD signs a CLA (Convertible Loan Agreement) with Venture Kick

CHD (Connected Health Development) sarl, based at the Biopôle in Lausanne and specialized in women’s health, is proud to announce its selection for Stage II of Venture Kick, along with the signature of a CLA and a new level of financial and operational support.

This milestone reflects the continued confidence of Venture Kick in the MONI2 innovation — a comfortable, easy-to-use, machine-washable fetal monitoring belt combined with a multiparametric application and platform integrating fetal ECG, maternal ECG, contractions, fetal movements, wellness data and predictive health indicators designed to help prevent risks such as preterm birth, all enabling remote pregnancy monitoring in real-life conditions.

The MONI2 solution will support the move of care from hospital to home and will allow to improve the quality of life of the pregnant women, whatever if the pregnancy is at risk or not, by being remotely monitored from home in real-life conditions. It will reduce the burden of the HealthCare Professionals and the number of hospitalization days, the HCP being able to focus on patients that do need care only.

Leveraging its expertise in smart textile-based medical devices developed and certified for real-life home use, as well as its expertise in operating end-to-end RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) service platform with predictive indicators, CHD applies this know-how and experience to pregnancy monitoring and surveillance as well as risk prediction.

The investment and support of Venture Kick will allow CHD to develop and test the functional prototypes of MONI2 ready for manufacturing and the launch of the commercial version of MONI2 next year. In parallel, CHD will close the first tranche of its Seeding fundraise, targeting 1M€, during summer with two new investors already on board or in negotiation with CHD. This will allow CHD to execute its Plan and reach the above mentioned objective with the release of its first product and service version in 2027 as initially planned.
