CHD and CIC-IT join forces in women’s health and high-risk pregnancies
CHD and CIC-IT join forces in medical data, algorithms, and predictive indicators for women’s health and high-risk pregnancies.
CHD (Connected Health Development) SARL, based in Lausanne (Switzerland), and CIC-IT (Lille University Hospital, INSERM, University of Lille), based in Lille (France), have signed a cooperation agreement to provide anonymized cardiac signal data from pregnant women and their fetuses, collected over recent years by Lille University Hospital. This collaboration will enable CHD to develop and validate predictive indicators aimed at helping prevent risks associated with certain pregnancies, such as preterm birth.
This collaboration will subsequently allow the clinical testing and validation, notably within Lille University Hospital, of CHD’s fetal monitoring belt currently under development, called MONI2. This solution enables remote and real-life monitoring of high-risk pregnancies through a textile belt capable of identifying and collecting fetal and maternal cardiac data, contractions, and fetal position.
These medical data, combined with well-being and quality-of-life data from pregnant women, will help anticipate and predict potential pregnancy complications while allowing expectant mothers to maintain a normal daily life and activity.
